Singh, Shanti

Passed away on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 in her 79th year. Shanti’s greatest love was her husband Ram Chandra. In India she was a dedicated teacher who adored her students. She excelled in athletics and always enjoyed playing a game of kho kho or throw ball. Immigrating to Canada and moving to Kingston, Shanti worked in Food Services at CFB Kingston for more than 14 years. Shanti enjoyed going for walks, as well as times in her garden, where she took great delight in her sunflowers. She looked forward to a fine cup of tea and conversations with her myriad of friends. She was a wise woman, with a quick wit, who was committed to a life of prayer. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Thank you, Shanti, for the legacy of faith, love and prayer you have left us. Shanti is lovingly remembered by her siblings, extended family, her many friends and her Kingscourt Church family. She is predeceased by her husband Ram Chandra and her parents Nathu and Tulsa Singh.

Visitation at the GORDON F.
