<div itemprop="description">O'Reilly, Sister Barbara Mary CND (Sister St. Barbara of the Eucharist) - Peacefully at Providence Motherhouse, Kingston, ON, Sister Barbara Mary O'Reilly of the Congregation of Notre Dame died on August 31, 2015 in her eighty-third year. She was predeceased by her parents Michael O'Reilly and Margaret Stewart and her brothers Patrick, John and Michael and her sister Margaret. She is survived by her sister Rita of Martintown, ON, her brother Lawrence of Kingston, ON plus several nieces and nephews. She is fondly remembered by the members of her religious community, her former students and her collaborators in ministry. Sister Barbara was born in Montreal, QC and entered the Congregation of Notre Dame in 1954 making her Religious Profession in 1956. In the following years she responded to teaching assignments in Montreal, Verdun, Granby, Westport, and Chateauguay PQ, finishing her educational career as Pastoral Animator at Villa Maria Secondary School in Montreal. Retiring from teaching Sister Barbara contributed to several community ministries including the Coordination of Associate Relationship, serving on Pastoral Team at Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum and as a member of the staff at St. Joseph Spirituality Centre in Mabou. , NS. In 2013 she moved to the Notre Dame Community at the Providence Motherhouse in Kingston, ON. Friends will be received at the TOWNSHIP CHAPEL OF GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 435 Davis Drive, (Taylor Kidd Blvd and Centennial Drive) on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and from 7:00 - 9:00 pm with Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Church, 392 Palace Road on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 am followed by the Rite of Committal in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston, ON.<br /><br /></div>
