Passed away in the early morning of Monday, September 21st, 2015 at the home of her loving daughter. Shirley is survived by her doting partner Richard Sangster, her devoted daughter Pam Legault (Dave) and her loving sons Donnie (Deb) and David (Clara). Grandmother of Sara, Courtney, Brian, Bonnie, Melissa, Dougie, Dustin, Davis, Justin, Nathan, Brianna, Gerrid and Shawn. Great-grandmother of Carter, Bella, Matthew and many more. Dear sister of Rosie, Gerald (Barb), Diane, Rita, Carolyn (Al), George and Pauline (Mel). Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Viola Salter, her husband Les, her stepson Dennis and her sisters Jean and Gail. Shirley was loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME - Township Chapel, 435 Davis Drive (Taylor-Kidd Blvd. at Centennial Dr.) on Thursday, September 24th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, September 25th at 11 a.m. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army Rideau Heights Corps would be appreciated.
