Armstrong, Robert (Bob) "Army" Retired Kingston Transit Driver
Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2014 at the Kingston General Hospital. Beloved husband of Sue (Weber), Dear father of Kyle of Vancouver and Brittany (James) of Kingston. Fondly remembered as Poppa to Nicholas, Abbygail, and Sophia. Brother-in-law of Mike Weber (Debby) of Vancouver. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Brother to Ruby, Jack and Meta and their spouses. Pre-deceased by brother Bill and sister-in-law Dorothy of Belleville. Son-in-law to Audrey Weber-Wood (the late Pete and Don). Dearly missed friend to Anne, (predeceased by Bob Storring and Maureen Baker), Holly (Peter) Chad (Amanda), Paul and Pat Treneer, and Megan Law.
A dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays fan.Enjoyed his times with family and friends over the years.
Family and friends will gather at Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, 435 Davis Drive (Taylor-Kidd Blvd and Centennial Dr) on Sunday, August 3 from 1p.m. until the time of the Service in Our Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated.
