Pre-deceased by husband Edmund Lawrence Carroll and son William Edmund Carroll. Daughter of the late Ronald E. Bearns and Elizabeth Tilley both of St. John&rsquo;s Newfoundland. Dear sister to Marguerite (Robert) of Macon Ga. and the late Ronald Bearns (Margaret) of Paradise, Newfoundland. Loving mother of Linda Carroll (Bill Winslow) of Picton, Ontario, Stephen (Julie) Carroll of Mississauga, Ontario, Janet (late Ronald) Blackmore and Peter Carroll of Kingston. Cherished grandmother to Matthew, Kevin, Ryan, Kelly, Jillian, Jessica and great-grandmother to Sophia, William and Caedon. Pat will be dearly missed by her dog Tucker and cat Gidget <br /> <br />Pat was involved in a life time of community service including; Girl Guide Commissioner of Ottawa East, Past President of the Probus Club of Kingston-Frontenac, Past-President of C.W.L. Rockland, Ontario, Past-President of the Meals-on-Wheels Program Rockland, Ontario; Member of the Board of Directors for the Kingston Horticultural Society and also Quill at Queen&rsquo;s University. <br /> <br />Retired as an employee of the R.C.M.P and C.S.I.S. in 1984. <br /> <br />Family and friends will be received at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home - Township Chapel 435 Davis Drive Kingston, Ontario (Taylor Kidd Blvd. &amp; Centennial Drive) on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 12Noon until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place at the Glenhaven Memorial Gardens Crematorium.
