1939-2014
Lucilia passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Friday August 29, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family. Lucilia was born in Lousa, Portugal and came to Canada in 1961. Lucilia will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 54 years, Manuel, her daughter, Gina (Kevin), her son, Tony (Isaura), her four loving grandchildren, Melissa Gilmour, Amanda Raffael (Chris) , Mackenzie and Brian Afecto, her sisters, Maria Almeida and Alice Oliveira and all her relatives and friends.
Lucilia’s family will forever be grateful to the wonderful team at Kingston General Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
Friends will be received at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 435 Davis Drive ( Centennial Dr and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) on Monday, September 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Division Street, on Tuesday, September 2 at 10:30 a.m.
Rite of Committal with prayers in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
