Retired Warrant Officer Canadian Forces Signal Corps.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful man Lee Baxter at the age of 73, peacefully at his home in the morning of December 5, 2015. Loving husband of Monique Baxter. Beloved father to Angelique Baxter (Andrew), David Baxter (Laura) and Adrienne Kurji (Charlie). Proud and loving Opa to Morgan, Darcy, Jaime, Eden, Ainsley, Ava and Aidan. Dear brother to Mary-Lue (Carl) and their family. Cremation has taken place. At Lee's request there will be celebration of life on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home - Township Chapel 435 Davis Drive (Taylor Kidd Blvd. & Centennial Drive). For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or to the charity of one's choice in memory of Lee.
A very heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Team especially Dr. Connidis, for her compassionate care. In addition a very big thank you to all the nurses from Para-Med for their compassion and excellent care for Lee especially Wendy, Wendy Orr, Lynne and Sherri.
