Peacefully at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the age of 81. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Berniece (nee Kimmett). Loving father to Dan Pettem, Cory Pettem and Larry Sweet. Predeceased by daughter Karen Sweet. Dear grandfather to Adam, Kendra, Taylor, Kayla, Brandy and cherished great-grandfather to 3. Dear brother-in-law to Grant (Cookie) Kimmett, Dale (Marg) Kimmett, Mary (Rick) Potter and Dorothy (Doug) Harpell.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. a reception will follow at South Fredricksburgh Hall 2478 County Rd., #8 Napanee from 3-5 p.m.
