Anna Carla Valconi (Michic)

August 13, 1927 - June 7th, 2014

With sad hearts the family wishes to announce the sudden and peaceful passing of their dear Mother and Nonna, in her daughter Luciana’s arms, on Saturday, June 7th, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Mario Valconi, dear Mother of Giordana (Gioli) wife of George, Luciana (Lucy) wife of Santo, Sergio husband of Linda. Heartfelt thanks to the attending staff at Providence Care Manor for their care and attention.

Family and friends will be received at Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, 435 Davis Drive (Taylor Kidd Blvd. at Centennial Drive) on Tuesday, June 10th from 1 - 3 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church 392 Palace Road, on Wednesday, June 11th at 1:00 p.m. Rite of Committal with prayers at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
